Me after my mile run this morning. Day 4 of #runforthetrees am running a mile every day for 33 days. doing it to raise money to plant trees 🌳. Each £2 I raise will plant a tree. Super let down by Tumblr mobile because for three days straight I have been trying to post about the first leg of my vacation in Missoula and so far NOTHING HAS ACTUALLY SUBMITTED.

Though now that I’m mentioning it I’m sure my dash will be swallowed by every single post I submitted. Whatever.

Anyhow. Leg one in Missoula was a smashing success. I flew alone for the first time EVER and didn’t barf once (though it came close more than once) and saw friends and family and the flight was just so worth it.

Furthermore, I’ve been training to run with my triathlete sister for her birthday and race day quickly came up and Saturday I managed to run my first 10k Run For The Trees with my sister and it was just so important because she’s so passionate about it and this is the first time I’ve ever been able to run with her. I would not have made it without her sticking by my side and cheering me along. With every curse word I uttered to her, every “I hate you” and “this sucks”, every time I wanted to give up, EVEN WHEN I TRIED TO PUSH HER OVER, she just laughed smiled and cheered me on more. “Yeah yeah you can do this you’re so fast!” By mile 5 she was LITERALLY SINGING TO ME to get me to that finish line. Eventually I made it the 6.2 miles and it was just incredible to share that with her and I am so thankful for her.
