I like that a lot of shows from the 1990-2010 region of history are scored by interpretative jazz. Under funny or silly moments; but also serious and sensual. Now everything is made with a soundtrack of generic yet interpretatively placed pop songs and every experience is like an incomplete orgasm

a running list of ways i’ve been told ‘i love you’ recently:

1. my dad went through the house looking for snacks to send with me on the way home after the holiday

2. his wife saved the fake flowers she used to decorate for their wedding because i said they were cute. she sent them with me on the way home

3. ‘let me know when you’re home safe’ from my dad, my brother, and my sister-in-law

4. my dad makes potato salad every time i visit because he knows i like his and no one else’s

5. my dad’s wife asked a thousand questions about how i like my shrimp because she wanted to make sure i would like how she made it (it was fucking incredible. it was so good. she is a wizard and i want to learn her magicks)

6. ‘i just wanted to check up on you’ from my mom. every time she says this, i know what it means

7. two different friends sent me the same omegaverse shitpost

8. ‘do you want to go to trader joe’s tomorrow?’ from my friend, because she knows i don’t go out much

9. every time one friend tells me about her monster hunter exploits, the kids she teaches, her tabletop games and characters

10. a friend asked me to beta read her fanfic this morning, and said she’d never shared her writing with anyone before

11. my friend made a separate dish without kale at friendsgiving

12. that same friend always makes sure i get to bring the mac and cheese

That’s it, I’ve had enough of this show. I am no longer watching Big Brother this season. The best player on the season is going out week 5. I can’t believe Big Brother would allow this event to even happen. Grodner where the hell are you!? If Christian doesn’t stay I’m out, bye.

Claire is the best player on BB23, if she doesn’t win this season is truly a travesty. Claire is the queen of all queens and will dominate the mental competitions soon enough. Hopefully Grodner throws in a power too, so she can stay safe. Yep that’s it Claire BB23 winner

I'm with you! This season has been nothing but race politics and SJW bullshit. I'm appalled at how low this show has sunken and I am cancelling my subscription to Paramount Plus

Cigarettes ran out week 3, he has a great social game, he came in 2nd in like 3 comps and did well in the balance beam, he cleaned the entire house multiple times, was emotional support for a lot of houseguests, & kept his cool and didn’t pop off on anyone like he normally would.

Not Worth The Hype (2019)

This will be a running list of books, which were rather disappointing and not worth the money nor the time. Goodreads rating would be 1-2 stars.

Most books on this list are just poorly written or bad representations of their genre, while there are better reading options available.
