New shoes! The On Cloudace is the first shoe besides the Brooks Transcend to really grab my heart. They are bouncy, cushy, and feel super fast. If you haven’t tried On, they are a Swiss brand with a unique cushioning system!

Check out what the wife got today!!! She just gets me lol. Now if it would stop raining I would go try it out, might just have to brave the storm.
Had a really good run. It was pretty easy so that was cool. So now some nutella toast and orphan black cause its not like I have 4 midterm projects next week. Hah. No half my grade grad level exam. Nope. none of those. If we survive this Alley we have a lot of drinking to do.
This article is about some of the softer social sciences as explored through running. I was hoping it would be more about the science of running. It's pretty cool that there's a conference now for academics who study running and who use running to execute their studies (like mapping cities through running).
Dedicated a good hour to comparing Hal Higdon's intermediate and advanced half training plans.
I like that the advanced starts you at 90 minutes for the long runs. Stepping back to 5 miles would be weird after casually doing 8 mile medium length runs on a Thursday evening during marathon training. BUT it might also be good to step back on the distance and work on doing them at a faster speed.
Advanced also has more varied speed work and includes hills.
Just concerned that 6 runs a week might be too much.
Maybe need to do a mix of the two. In spreadsheet format.
New Runners....Yeah!!!
11 Miles Bitches!
Just finished an 11 mile run averaging 8.38 minute miles...not bad for being drunk last night AMIRITE!!!
Confessions of a Nike addict
You'd think I was looking porn when I browse Nike dri fit gear.
I'm all like.. Oooh yeah, look at that.
Mmhmm I need to get one of those.
Oooh I've never seen THAT before.
