what running pack do you have?
It’s an Advanced Skin 12 from Salomon! Definitely a splurge, but an incredible pack. I hardly notice it while running (no bounce and v comfortable) and it has all the pockets you could ever need.

Drawing on the expertise of champion ultra-runner Scott Jurek, the Ultimate Direction SJ Ultra Vest effectively balances weight and performance in providing at-the-ready hydration for long-distance running or racing. Two 20 oz sport bottles included.
The Ultimate Direction SJ Ultra Vest is the ideal hydration vest for extended trail runs or ultra-running events. Hydration bottles in front for easy access!
I bought this pack a few weeks ago and am really starting to like it. Lots of storage and VERY lightweight, which is great. Love the upfront storage for bottles and other supplies. Very accessible.
Only complaints are small.
1) I bought a Small at first and it was WAY too small (I have a 38 in chest at the widest part). So I returned it to UD, then bought a Medium from Backcountry Edge (they have free shipping and $4 returns or free exchanges, whereas I had to pay to send my Small back to UD.). The Medium was barely small enough, and I had to modify it to make it usable. Without my adjustments to the sternum strap, the bottles, when full, would bounce uncontrollably, even when the vest was set to the smallest setting.
The Small and Medium sizes should not be that far apart - they should slightly overlap so as to fit the most wearers possible. Even now just bottles are almost too bouncey (better with a full pack or bladder). NOTE: does not come with a bladder but does come with two UD bottles.
2) There are two velcro closure pockets under the water bottle pockets - great idea. But they have the closure flaps on the outside, rather than the inside, meaning the wearer has to reach way back with his left arm to access the left pocket.
If the flaps opened inward, the wearer could simply reach across with his opposite hand and easily access the pockets (using the left hand to access the right side pocket). Just flipping the closure flaps would fix this.
Otherwise, a very, very nice pack that I'd definitely recommend.
Plus, I think it looks cool :)
