Beta was waiting very impatiently for Carolina to wake up. That was one of the problems with not having your own body, there wasn’t much you could do on your own. Beta was stuck here until she woke up.

She tried to poke and prod in her Lina’s mind a bit. She’s never had experience interfacing with someone’s brain like this, so fuck if she actually knew what she was doing, but Beta was going to try.

...Success! She still wasn’t sure exactly what she had done but Carolina did seem to be coming around.

omg there have always been tons of lazer tag places around here. like it would take me less than an hour to drive to three different lazer tag places rn.

...maybe i should be concerned by how much north easterners want to shoot each other

the only time i did it with blacklight was at a college event though. you got a free white t-shirt to decorate with highlighters first plus there was a candyland theme with one of those pixie dust dispenser things so imagine a shitton of college kids hyped up on flavored sugar trying to shoot each other and going for very dramatic slides into cover

like what if Tex recognized something weirdly familiar in Lina’s childhood memories so she kept trying to pick at them and it really bothered Carolina because obviously that’s some really sensitive stuff and the complete lack of privacy in her head might bother her??

and then competing preferences for things. Tex protesting every time Carolina wants to drink. Carolina can’t have sex unless she takes the time to pull Tex first because Tex is the ultimate cockblock. Oh is that coffee? I hope you like psychosomatic nausea.

but it could also be so good. imagine Tex and Carolina working together instead of competing. They would have been able to figure out what was going on at PFL if they were on the same side instead of pitted against one another. I’m so sure of it. And they would probably be able to take it down too.

Not to mention they would be unstoppable together on the battlefield 

oh and Carolina already has a crush on South right? That would get 5000 times worse with Tex in her head feeding into it with her own feelings.
