If RMA was targetted for older audience, I bet half of the cast would be having huge mental breakdowns. I just know Liu was seconds close from experiencing a ptsd attack in the Pyramid Race episode if he wasn't too beaten.

Her grandmother Kitagawa had the ability of Mind Reading, or Telepathy which isn’t the same as Miyo’s Pyschometry which allows her to go through someone’s entire memory
Both Kaito and Miyo trained by Metronome from age 5
Kaito “dies” from the same illness when they were 14

Rema almost became a personal trainer to Miyo but she decided to just watch over Miyo for a while instead when she was chosen as the Nyanya Tribe’s Running Man.
Miyo has trypanophobia (a fear of needles)
Kitagawa was the Nyanya’s Tribe Champion in the Running Man competition 50 years ago. She’s competed for five consecutive years but only won once
Taru and Miyo regularly have sparring matches.
Miyo once had a group of friends as a Metronome trainee but due to her climbing the ranks so quickly, jealousy festered and at some point some of them tried sabotaging her
She didn’t do friends after that.
