Thought this was a cool data visualisation project, these are a selection of images taken from a series of infographics with displayed the routes in which people run/cycle taken from activity log apps which people use to exercise. These images show running routes in London, New York, San Fransisco, Philadelphia and Paris.
My colleague showed me this today. You can create your own routes or use others created by other people, just type in the location you want to run around and see what appears! Really simple site.
