Listening to your body One of the hardest lessons I have learned is to listen to your body. Sometimes it whispers – if you catch it then then you can stop serious damage from occurring. Other times your body starts shouting – the red lights are there, you should have listened. Hopefully it is not too late by then. I try to be as in tuned to my body as I can possibly be. That means sometimes I need to sleep more, eat more, drink more water, talk more, listen more, feel more, and other times I need to sleep less, eat less, drink less, talk less, listen less and feel less. For people on the outside it might not make sense, they might even experience or perceive it as being unsure or uncommitted but I firmly believe that we need to adapt to the different seasons that we find ourselves in. Sometimes a season can be for a day, other times for months. If you listen to your body you will be able to give it what it needs in order to go through that season successfully. Right now? My body is saying I need to rest.
