Production Summary - 13/6/14
Today is the final day of our music video project, we have to upload our final piece. We have shot and edited the entire music video. My role in the production was as director, arguably the most important role in production. I believe I have served well as director, producing some really good shots with our cameraman (Ryan), discussing ideas with the rest of the team and inputting a lot of my own ideas. I also sat down with our editor (Nick) for a majority of the time to give my opinion on the cuts and so on. I added some of my own ideas into the editing process as well. as well as director I also performed as main actor, I played the central role in the music video, i had to direct my self and also everyone else in the production. Because I had to direct my self that made the job easier, instead of asking someone to do what i wanted for the role, I just did it my self. I worked well with the rest of the production team, discussing creative ideas and how we can improve the video. Each member of the team at some point or another gave some input on production. My team was easy to work with and we didn't really encounter a lot of creative differences, we compromised with each other and we have a very good final piece of work.
