Leading the way are brands such as Essie, Maybelline and CND who were the force behind The Blond’s extravagant look for AW14 (above). Want something a little more wearable? Each season we see new make-up & nail trends emerge from the runway but there are certain ones you can always rely on; when it comes to Spring, pastel shades are as iconic in beauty as floral prints are in fashion and provide a fail safe way to reintroduce a splash of colour to any winter palette. Predicting their return, Butter London have launched the Sweetie Shop collection featuring 6 opaque pastel nail colours that look just about pretty enough to eat.
Taking inspiration from sweet treats such as macaroons, sherbet ice-cream and cotton candy the new shades are delicate and tasteful plus the high quality opaque formula stops them from looking watery as some pastel polishes can.
