Arboretum

"Greenhouse" proved to be a poor choice of words for the crumbling ruin.
"Cathedral," perhaps, would have been more accurate.
The towering structure spread outward and around the base of the peak, stories high, and gleaming in the thin sunlight, glass twined with vines, both inside and out. Upward and onto the mountaintop, the maze-like building extended, until at last, at the very summit, it ended in a great dome. Even from the base, where Storm stood, prancing and pawing, the thick tangle of greenery inside could be seen; likely the location of the key they sought.
But with the building so expansive, so all-consuming of the area's limited space, climbing the peak and breaking into the structure would have been nigh impossible.
They'd simply have to traverse the Arboretum in its entirity.
She wanted to be amazed, but, hands tightening on the reins and lips tightening with them, all she could summon to mind was indignation over what it must have cost to build the place, and the thousand better uses that the expense could have been put toward.
Her blasted ancestors, again...
Biting back a resigned sigh and swinging down out of the saddle, she reached up to give her companion a hand.
"Well. We've arrived. It certainly looks ominous enough, even with all of the glass, to let in the sun."
