A total yes for the art direction of this video (call me by Manal) set in rural Morocco.

A lot has changed in the rural area that I was born and partly grew up in. Ancestors left and capitalist modernity kicked in with all its comfort and detriments.

All that aside; a happy place does not have to be physical. If the remembrance of it brings forth feelings of safety, community, freedom and joy, it can be revisited whenever we want in our hearts and minds eye.
