I’m still doing the #30x30directwatercolor2018 challenge but have been behind on posting my daily updates. I’ve decided to do smaller paintings by taping off an 11x14 sheet of watercolor. This is a difficult process for me...going in with straight watercolor without pencil or pen to lay the foundation. But I believe it’s great practice and hopefully by the end, my comfort level will improve. 2 of these are from photos I took on our farm, and 3 are from buildings around town that I captured over my lunch break. The other one started as a sky scene and then morphed into an island landscape. I didn’t measure the rectangles out, just putting down some masking tape on the paper to separate. So a few of these boxes are smaller than the others. #leannharmonbullard #watercolor #urbansketch #ruralsketch (at Ashland, Missouri)
