Some of these guys and gals knew each other already. Luigi and Diddy of course knew each other, Luigi knew Rush and Globox in Super Mario Bros GX, Tails, Coco and Milla worked together when Eggman and Cortex teamed up in an N Sane crossover, Clank, Bentley and Daxter all knew each other thanks to Ratchet, Sly and Jak's team ups. Kazooie, Laylee and Sparx were all new but they were able to fit

They'd bond over their experiences being sidekicks to their main heroes and they'd have their own adventures together. Bentley and Clank would get along well with Tails, Milla and Coco as they all had some familiarity with machinery allowing them to build all kinds of gadgets. Daxter and Kazooie would be at odds with each other due to Kazooie's fiery temper and Daxter's mouth but they'll work together when needed

Globox would tell Luigi about the times he'd be a bit cowardly while Laylee and Sparx would get along well together too since Sparx was impressed with Laylee's strength to carry Yooka on their adventures
