Some lore i have decided (lots of it still undecided, if u have ideas/thoughts would love to hear them. I would like it to be as close to cannon jumalanpelkolore like no cultcats have no names, but I'll give them names outside of cannon for convinience and for fun)

Only cat to have a name would be Suncat Ruska (Rusty/Firepaw) because he came from outside and i think its a cool name. It's his cannon kittypet name and doesn't mean rusty (=ruosteinen) but it means the time of year when leaves turn brown, yellow and red during fall and i find that very fitting for a suncat.

Ruska gets to be the new Suncat, by stumbling into the cult in the forest much like in cannon, but probably even younger.

The previous Suncat (Redtail) has just been killed by ??? and the unofficial official leader of the cult Sinitar? (Bluestar) thinks that one guard isn't enough for a Suncat that is from outside of the colony and due to the fact that the previous one was killed.

I would like for Tigerclaw to be the previous guard and have part in previous Suncats death but idk what he's motive would be as of yet.

Graypaw and Ravenpaw (new names pending) get to be the new guards and would be a bit older than Ruska. They also get called Big Guard and Small Guard by the cult.

We'll see how long i feel like adding stuff to this

My first pasta maker print!

It was so much fun to finally get back to some printmaking and feel confident in working in my makeshift home studio. I have been interested in Collagraph printing for a while, and wanted to try a relief technique as most people I’ve seen go for an etching style. The design is based on my Arabia of Finland teapot I found at an estate sale a few years ago (designed by Ulla Procope).

The dog from the Sea

The six toes are not an error - Ruska and the populaton of dogs she decends from have been bred to hunt puffins and different species of auks on steep sea cliffs. Inspired by the real life Norwegian Puffin Dog aka Lundehund. Been having so much fun with the symmetry tool, so much that I will open up commisions for this type of illustration over on my Ko-fi page! :)
