너는 왜 그림을 좋아하니?에 대한 고찰 "당신의 마음은 이미 그 안에 있습니다. 이 작품은 당신을 감싸 안습니다." <데이비드 호크니와의 대화-다시, 그림이다> 중 내가 가장 좋아하는 구절이다. 생각은 추상적이고 언어는 구체적이다. 말로 다 표현하지 못하는 생각의 추상을 담는데 예술은 가장 멋지고 아름다운 그릇이다. 그 중 오롯이 시각의 예술인 그림은 그린 이의 생각과 시선이 가장 잘 "보이는" 그릇이다. 그림을 보는 나의 시선과 그림 속에 담긴 작가의 시선이 나지막히 마주칠 때 마음을 울리는 그 느낌이 좋다. 봄 햇살 같이 따뜻한, 포근하고 보송보송한 품 안에 안기는 것 같은 아주 낭만적이고 평화로운 그 느낌. #russelltyler#fineart#artlove
