September 26, 1935 was born Viktor Chizhikov, Soviet and Russian illustrator and cartoonist, whose work includes illustrations for various magazines and more than 90 books. He had famously designed a mascot of 1980 Moscow Summer Olympics, Misha. In 1980 was awarded with Hans Christian Andersen Award honorary diploma.
