On a serious note tho, t.A.T.u. is such an important band to me for so many reasons; the most relevant being that they helped me come to accept who I am. When I discovered I was a lesbian, I was so afraid and didn’t want to be who I was. t.A.T.u. was the first band I had found that contained and supported the LGBT+ community. Their music was so beautiful and real, everything was so real. They taught me that it’s okay to be gay. (All their songs are fkn bops too). A ‘friend’ once said to me “YOU VALUE t.A.T.u. MORE THAN YOUR FRIENDSHIPS!!!” and I was like: “Yes, I do. Because that band has helped me more than any of you bitches.” They may not be together now, but t.A.T.u. will always have a place in my heart and soul.

I have a new appreciation for Russian singers.

(song start at 00:50) Any Russian follower has a moment to tell me what they are singing after they stop singing in Portuguese and start going in Russian and Tatar(?) Just out of curiosity :) Still, props to the both singers, singing in Portuguese must’ve not been that easy and they sounded really good.
