rust!pangi letsgo
rusty bones royalty ✨
Okay but pangi going from lifesteal (a world born out of anarchy) → to the realm (a team of scrappy misfits who survived by banding together despite having different goals) → and now finding himself in an established kingdom is so thematically fascinating to me.
Like he’s literally a child of chaos. His identity was shaped by violence and destruction, by a land where order doesn’t exist. And yet he keeps getting pulled into these structured worlds that are the complete opposite of where he comes from.
And the wildest part? he almost joined the underdog rival kingdom - but instead he got mauled by a bear and lost everything only to be then stumbled upon by the king of GoldenCrest which led to him seeing the enchanting, flourishing gates of prosperity and power.
This is a boy who craves conflict, yet is always being tempted by the shine of order, by the systems that look nothing like the anarchy that raised him. And maybe that’s the theme with Pangi across every world. No matter how much peace, order, or structure surrounds him, he’ll always be the echo of anarchy inside it.
Kingdoms crown kings, factions appoint leaders, but Pangi never gets to be one. He’ll always be the blade they try to wield, never the hand that holds it. He never gets to be on the throne, but instead finds his place on the battlefield. Because his surroundings haven't raised him to rule, but instead to swing and burn, to bleed and burn.
Pangi always feels caught between worlds. Too restless and sharp for the calm of the Realm, too tempered and controlled for the chaos of Lifesteal. He carries the weight of both, never fully at home in either. Every safe place a mere pause in the storm. Chaos is his comfort, yet he’s often thrust into order he can’t quite settle in. A world he can't truly call home ; a place he can never truly belong.
He never learned how to kneel yet here he stands taking refuge in a kingdom, willing to do their bidding in order to get a scrapping to get by. A warrior shaped by his own blood now stands wielding a sword wrapped in silk handed to him by a system he doesn't believe in. Not always a good man, but always a perfect soldier. Does anyone hear me....
some things will never change
He doesn't have 8 wives but there's this guy Lukey...
Foolish is king and Pangi has men fighting over him... history repeats I guess
Rusty Bones era was truly incredible for Foolish freaks like me.
I think its the combination of him playing a game he had no knowledge in for the first time, being trusted as a leader, the time limitations of the event, AND the amount of people he haven't met before on the server. Yeah we joke about him being unprofessional streamer but when it matters he takes his obligations seriously and he truly locked in during that event. Hours of gameplay 7 days in a row, clocking 14, 10, 12 hours a day (except first and last days for 6-7 hours). That event was very big and Foolish did great on a meta level of staying out of drama cuz bb there was a lot.
Foolish has been a leader in different contexts before that, but this one was the first where he was truly a ruler of a Kingdom.
He had such great balance of rp players and pro players and pvp players. He allowed everyone to shine, he praised everyone who helped him become a rust player, he genuinely enjoyed different aspects of that game and he genuinely tried his best at being a just, fierce yet humble king. Despite his character not expecting or wanting the amount of responsibility that was thrusted upon him, especially since 2 out of 3 of his other rulers rejected any responsibility at all. (i think quackity showed up maybe once, tried to be a dictator and throw foolish off the throne (people defended foolish here btw btw) , and left LMAO. And miyoung just preffered to play with friends and at her own pace, saying outright she is not a leader. Tina was a leader and she did her duties but Foolish was a face of the kingodm and more recognised because he did a lot of diplomacy) And people joined on their own, the only thing that was predetermined is each kingdom had 4 rulers, that's it. By the end Rusty Bones had 94 people, while obv active memebers were way less, those who were main forces were very adamant on their loyalty.
I just!!!! Rusty Bones were so unique!!!! And so so wonderful and fun and chaotic and under dog and fighters and artists and just loyal to the bone. SO much happend during that week and all of it was incredibly entertaining. I don't remember a lot but i do know the feelings it gave me while i was watching it. It was great!!!!
Oh and btw, Rusty Kingdoms won in the end B)
Rust kingdoms R!foolish and R!tina
I was way to afraid to post this on main but here we go my hot take when it comes to them
while yes R!tina is justified in her feelings for being extremely mad and from her pov her brother who she thought was dead, disapeared and came back with a New kingdom a New Family.
I fully think r!foolish was justified in his action to not contact her, first with the fact that he literally tried to khs it failed and he washed up on shore somewhere, it’s very clear he doesn’t wanna be king. And If he attempted to contact her back or even go back to the kingdom he would’ve become king, (no bash to r!!tinas character) r!tina isnt the best option for a ruler so if anybody, even r!tina herself, knew he was still around and alive they would’ve came to get him, cause the kingdom was crumbling. he had every right not to contact and stay silent
She has every right to be mad, and this whole thing sucks cause i want them to be star siblings.
but I literally Can’t stop thinking about How r!foolish straight up disliked being a king and kept being One, commited suicide to free himself, and then only to end up becoming king AGAIN years later. Like no if you think about it hes doomed to be king no matter what so he was totally justified in his decision not to contact after his attempt, it sucks but it makes sense. Doesn’t mean he didn’t Love his sisters or care it just means hes tired
