Old Barn
Good timber does not grow with ease The stronger the wind, the stronger the trees The further sky, the greater length The more the storm, the more the strength
J. Willard Marriott captured the pre - pre - construction process well. Good timber framing stands the test of time. Some of the beams in this barn were used for a project or two before the barn's original construction in the 1800's.
A family in Finland decided to decorate their old barn with antiques and lovely vintage things to turn it into a summer entertainment space.
There’s a pretty table set for picnicking out of the sun.
And, it makes a wonderful place to nap or sit and read.
It does get hot enough to melt the candles, sometimes.
It’s also a textile craft place- look at that loom.
There’s also room to display vintage collections.
Wood carvings on display. Instead of an old barn filled with junk, they turned it into a useful little showplace.
