Extroverts and introverts as one of the most amusing yet misguided arguments in psychology.
Why are extroverts so noisy?
For the chronically dysregulated, silence is lethal. Silence reveals: their rumination loops, unprocessed childhood material, lack of inner architecture, absence of agency, dependency.
So they cling to others as buffers, to bodies used as shock absorbers for their internal chaos. That’s why truly unhappy people often behave like gravity wells. They pull others in to stabilize themselves, and then they resent those same people for not being able to stabilize.
