The Saga of Tanya the Evil
Light Novel Vol 1
Story by Carlo Zen
Back Cover Description
High above the blood- and mud-soaked trenches, a young girl pits herself against army mages in high stakes aerial duels with bullets, spells, and bayonets. Her name is Tanya Degurechaff and she is the Devil of the Rhine, one of the greatest soldiers the Empire has ever seen! But inside her mind lives a ruthless, calculating ex-salaryman who enjoyed a peaceful life in Japan until he woke up in a war-torn world. Reborn as a destitute orphaned girl with nothing to her name but memories of a previous life. Tanya will do whatever it takes to survive, even if she can find it only behind the barrel of a gun.
Recommended 4/5 only because the book can be a little bit slow and overly detailed. But the footnotes did help alot with some the things mentioned with was a very nice touch.
Tanya Quote
"They say a thin line separates genius and madness."
Tanya is a ruthless, and logical protagonist, at first sight she looks like a innocent little girl. But you must understand is that, she will put a bullet in you and step over you on her way to the top. Tanya is the one who will win one way or another. There is something to beside for a protagonist to be willing to go to the lengths she has to succeed. Considered the Devil or a monster by the rest of the world. Tanya has to take it on and win if she wants to survive. Because if she doesn't die of old age God or (Being X) is going to send her to hell.
