Some more Ruv doodles !!! I feel angsty every time I draw during church (first and third images) because my dad usually tells me to put it away even tho it KEEPS ME AWAKE AND FOCUSED and then I start crying in public. (I somehow convinced him to let me.)

Kell carries a great majority of my childhood trauma;; mostly because Ruv is one of those characters that make me feel safe and protected. Makes sense to self project onto a self insert that deals with a force they can be protected from <:)

So how would Ruv comfort Kell when she has a nightmare?

Hmmm probably what any good partner would do lol; he pulls her face into his chest and hugs her oh so protectively. The hug alone, with Ruv being buff and strong as he is, reminds Kell that Ruv is not only her lover, but her protector and comrade for life. Whatever comes to get her, Ruv will not hesitate to fight back. Even if it’s an enemy he can’t face physically, like the nightmare. He’ll do his best to eliminate the fear she has by shushing and holding her close, drowning out those thoughts with affection so that the nightmare is no more.
