8. Do they have a nickname? Who gave it to them? If it's not derived from their real name, what's the story behind it?

Andi is a nickname, her full name is Andrea, but hardly anyone calls her that. I haven't really given her a lot of nicknames, there was one time where Rhodey comes up with the nickname "Miss Universe" because she's from another universe. Vo-Lan kind of dehumanizes her and just calls her "Space Stone" as he kidnaps her.

9. Favorite food? Least favorite? Are they a picky eater? Do they have any dietary restrictions?

I haven't thought about it much actually! I'm going to say that her favorite food is pancakes, or really any kind of breakfast food. She's from Boston, but dislikes most of the famous foods from there like baked beans and clam chowder.

Andi had pretty horrible eating habits, her anxiety makes her stomach hurt often and she doesn't have an appetite. She would basically just eat one meal a day and then eat snacks instead of sleep, college made her so much worse. She starts to take care of herself in the other world, especially when she has powers that wear her out easily.

19. Are they quick to anger? What sets them off?

Andi hardly gets angry, when she's upset it's usually in the form of fear or sadness. She'll find some way to blame herself for things. I think she only gets angry when people are rude to her for no reason, but she'll keep it inside.

33. If applicable, how would your other characters describe them? I mean specifically the people around them.

I love this question! I'll go with her main people: Steve, Bruce, and Kate.

Steve: It's nice to be around a fellow artist, she's very talented and has such a unique perspective on the world. She's very kind and wants to do good, but there's just a lot of fear holding her back.

Bruce: She's probably one of the most anxious people he's ever met, and he's seen so much fear in his life. She feels like glass, someone that can break easily and needs a lot of care. At the same time, Andi is an absolute sweetheart, he has a lot of fun hanging out with her because she likes to be calm and cozy like him.

Kate: Andi is so cool and she doesn't even know it. She's from another universe, has teleporting powers, and just acts like it isn't a big deal. She wants Andi to be the best she can be, and loves to help her with things to work up her confidence. Kate does notice how shy and easily flustered Andi is around her, but finds it endearing.

34. How would your character describe themselves? It doesn't have to line up with how they really are.

Andi doesn't really like herself, and thinks she's trapped in a constant state of loneliness and anxiety. She thinks she's incredibly clumsy, a lot less smarter than she thinks she is, and that no one would actually like her. Her sense of worth and self-image is like a very messy storm.

🌲 How deeply does your OC feel? Are they typically empathetic or do they have a hard time connecting with others in this way? What are they like when offering support and comfort to someone they care for?

Andi is a pretty open book with her emotions, which is a blessing and a curse. Her shy, introverted nature makes it a little hard to connect with people in an emotional way. The way she offers support and comfort is more practical, she'll offer help with things, so I consider acts of service her love language.

If Andi were an animal, she would be a mouse! I describe her hair color as a mousy brown, she's skittish, and she has the ability to quickly get away from any place!

Brenna doesn’t like to cause any issues and stays away from conflict, so she’s very quiet about her feelings. She’s a pretty gracious person and denies that she’s angry that her father has barely been in her life because it wasn’t exactly in his control. But there’s a lot of hardships in her life besides that (not having a lot of friends, the pressure of being like her parents) and she’s at a very emotionally-confusing age.
