@rvbocweek2025 - Featuring Disaster Valley outpost 4 - or what's left of them!

The Valley Blues set out on a rescue mission, following a distress signal sent by another sim trooper outpost, but were captured by the Jungle Reds and turned into test subjects.

Immanuel: The teams heavy weapons guy, stubborn and by the books, who enjoys nothing more than some part polishing. Had his left arm removed and it's yet to be replaced.

Aloysius: Team rookie who was still learning the ropes when they left Disaster Valley. Not a fan of fighting. Had every other finger replaced.

M-Four: Team communications officer. They may have seen too many spy films and think themselves one too. Have redacted all info on themselves: name, age, gender, species, GPA. Had both legs removed and replaced with digigrade type.

Ingas: Team Pilot. Wasn't even meant to be a sim trooper but was never extracted after a malfunction with the aircraft. Was excited to finally leave and now he mourns his thumbs. He loved his thumbs. Now his arms are non-functional wing type.

A little sample of the "example graphics" for the RVB OC Week suggestions; the "prompt ideas" for different days aren't rules that NEED to be followed, only possibilities for concepts with the characters. You can also imagine the suggestions as ideas for AUs. Whatever you want to share with your OCs will be awesome! Remember, no pressure to participate in EVERY day of the week

@rvbocweek2025 day 6 - Relationships

Ironmonger had spent a bit of time with Reds after the whole JRvVB incident, so let's look at his relationships!

Ironmonger and Doc were briefly an item back in school, and Iron was happy to try reignite the spark when he saw the medic again. The whole 'evil AI' wasn't a problem, he actually becomes quite the fan of O'Malley and likes the idea of two boyfriends in one.

As for the other Reds...

Donut develops a sort of jealous rivalry with Iron for stealing away Doc. It mostly involves petty inconveniences that start to escalate.

Simmons becomes paranoid of Ironmonger trying to steal his robot parts.

Sarge gets along with him like a house on fire, and there is a lot of machinery in the house. (Lopez becomes paranoid Iron will install human parts into him)

Grif dislikes that Iron likes work, and keeps trying to drag him into working.

@rvbocweek2025 day 1 & 2 get mixed since my OCs are SIM troopers! First up is Endless Jungle outpost 3- the Jungle Reds!

Ironmonger: Team inventor, loves robotics, medicine, and combining those two things.

Darvis: Team chef and wilderness survival expert. Loves inventing new recipes.

Garland: General ops, doing his least to keep the team on track.

Commander: Over enthusiastic Red leader. Red for life, as all other life is meaningless. Lost his eyes to the Blues, but Ironmonger made him some better ones.

Bob & Wiley: Identical twin weapon specialists. Impossible to tell who is who since they frequently swap places.

@rvbocweek2025 Day 3 - (a different kind of) Freelancer

Specialising in recovering assets that you want to keep secret, Sargent Raphael came to be contracted by Project Freelancer to clean up scraps. While mostly operating in stealth, Stitches knows how to handle herself in combat, and isn't past intervening to get agents out of the heat.

She find the sim trooper situation quite entertaining, takes a fancy towards Sarge, and later on estates herself as the leader of the remaining Valley Blues.

Mercs! Theres definitely some self-shipping here, but listen. Who wouldn’t? I’ve risen above thinking self shipping is cringe.

Anyways!

WILT young, dumb, and full of cu- uh.

Joined the Merc’s accidentally. He doesn’t particularly care about the money, he wants to have fun. Room and board being included is just a bonus! Previously on death row due to malpractice and unsanctioned medical experimentation in “the name of progress,” he’s extremely unserious and laid back. He uses the excuse of ‘boosting morale,’ which is actually pretty effective when paired up with Locus.

Armaments: Listen, the bone saw is tactically advantageous when they get prisoners that know too much! Honestly! He prefer’s close range weaponry, pistol and shotgun usually on hand, since he’s blind in one eye.

I dont actually have an art of him yet :/

Meet SOL, Agent Nevada’s second best friend (the first being his partner Montana, ofc.)

SOL isn’t a project freelancer ai, instead an old piece of technology meant to aid in fighting the flood. Due to Nevada’s ‘unique circumstances,’ he accidentally activated the ai while exploring some ruins he’d been assigned to explore pre-pfl. What started as a full lockdown of the ancient temple they were in turned into a blossoming friendship between the two, and after a bit of flesh-melding, have been inseparable ever since. Literally.

After being activated, SOL struggles a bit with a lack of purpose. They were meant to aid in an inevitable fight against an ancient threat, not show up because of an accidentally found dna sequence in a being thats decidedly not a danger to the known universe. With Nevada’s lack of knowledge in mechanical and digital operation (nevermind its age) they are unable to shut SOL down for them to appear when they’re needed in the possible future. With their limited options, SOL decides to implant themselves in Nevada, linking the two together permanently. They kept hidden from Nevada’s original creators, and were… unamused when given over to project freelancer. The fragment ai give them an intense ‘uncanny valley’ feeling, and Nevada and Montana didn’t have to keep SOL under wraps for very long after implantations started before they were shipped off to The Red Fissure, essentially an extra dumping ground for agents pfl didn’t need anymore.

SOL looks like a shooting star when moving, and pulses when still. They seem to be great at operating and delving in to even the simplest of circuitry up to massive super computers, but they often use too much brute force, and break more delicate pieces of code and software.
