and she stood from the sidelines, watching her older brother's rehearsal stage by the audience, immediately drawing a smile on jihoon’s lips. he didn’t have to worry much about his role, trusting daejung to be mature and professional enough to work things by himself, without a manager by his side every single time of the day. striding, he stopped track and greeted a few fans that said their hellos to him, his offered charm earned a number of giggles and shook his head in amusement, then settling for the spot beside soojung. 

quiet till daejung hit the highest of note, the older finally spoke, smile never leaving his lips. “ain’t your oppa cool?” he muttered a question as he loosely slipped an arm around her neck, leaning most of his weight on her, just because. “ah, i wonder when will i see you on that stage too. you should grow taller so you could debut soon y’know?”

It had started out as a study session, Soojung helping Jaeguen catch up on the school they’d missed whilst being off on promotions. It had started out as normal, the pair taking over the living room of the Crown dorm, textbooks spread over the floor as they chatted happily to one another, filling each other in on what had been going on in their lives as they both continued to make notes for classes neither of them really cared about. But as time went on and it started to get darker outside and the thought of pouring over any more studies just seemed like far too much effort they found themselves curled up watching some random drama. Jaegeun ran his fingers through Soojung’s hair softly as she rested her head in their lap. Jaeguen knew she was going to fall asleep, could tell from the way her eyes would stay shut for much longer than normal before blinking open again in pure rebellion against the rest her body wanted. It was exactly the same as when they’d been kids. “Go to sleep, noona.” Jaegeun yawned, leaning their head back onto the sofa with a sigh. They waited until her breathing had evened out and she turned into a complete dead weight on their lap before finally closing their own eyes, fingers still stroking her hair slightly as sleep enclosed them.
