“I wouldn’t say I’m ‘off’ anywhere, I wouldn’t describe this place as very exciting,” a grin started to spread across Daeil’s face as he made the lame joke. Though his voice lowered as he continued to speak, he still didn’t take his eyes away from her. “I’d make you anything if you ever wanted,” he said softly. Daeil never understood why Radioactive didn’t let her promote more, or release more music at all. He knew that he was a little biased, but it still didn’t make sense to him to have someone so talented and rarely let her show that. “We should really go back to some of those places,” he agreed, “where do you wanna go first, though? I don’t know how long it’d take us to go back to all of them.”

Hi guys, I just wanted to make a post to say that I’m leaving the rp. I was going to message people individually and apologize for having to drop the plots that our characters may have together, and then realized that it may just make more sense to post it to the dash.

I feel as though the next time I will be able to have normal activity again is in the fall, which is way too far away for my liking. The fact that it will likely be months until I can be an active member of the rp after what feels like such a long time of being incredibly inactive already worries incredibly. I feel terrible holding onto the positions and fcs that I have for that long, and even though I keep trying to convince myself otherwise, it feels like I am genuinely just clinging onto positions and fcs that I can’t do anything with, and also thus keeping them from other people who would ideally be able to actively use them in my place.

I love rivals so much, I love my characters and everyone else’s, and I love that I have been able to form friendships with everyone in the rp over the almost two years that I have been a part of it. I can’t shake the feeling that I am negatively impacting other people’s experience at the rp by tying them down in so many plots and connections that never get to go anywhere because of how infrequently I’m active. That’s not fair to any of you guys, and the last thing I want to do is hurt the rp more than I am helping it.

I feel terrible leaving the rp, but unfortunately I feel bad staying as well. Maybe in the fall I will be able to rejoin with the characters that I have had for almost two years now, but until then I don’t feel right staying. Though ideally I would have always been active this whole time, unfortunately I cannot dedicate myself to rivals in the way that I would like and still need to prioritize the real world first, no matter how much I have always loved rivals.

I’m genuinely sad that I have to leave the rp and again, I’m sorry to all of you for abandoning all of the plots that my characters are involved in after being part of the rp for so long. Maybe in the future I’ll be able to rejoin with some of the characters that I’ve had since only a month or so after rivals first opened, but in the meantime I wish everyone the best of luck with everything in their lives and hopefully you’ll see me back on the dash again one day!
