I used to be a Artihunter/cherrybomb shipper in the past, now I'm honest sick of see it. I blocked the tags but it still see it, which I get it people aren't going to tag things properly and it isn't like a triggering subject but it's still annoying to see. Even just the RW tag is filled with this ship. I get it now, I somewhat get the hate for this ship

Also I think Saint x Five Pebbles is kinda cute, in a non sexual way

I personally don't see Artihunter as much as I used to like a year ago but I can get how seeing it so much can be annoying.

Headcanon trick or treat! Do you have any thoughts about Saint?

Oh BOY anon you've hit a jackpot. I have SO MANY thoughts about Saint holy shit. This is going under a cut because I'm not going to shut up for a while, Saint my beloved.

So! Saint! It's Saint time. Personally I think my most important thought on Saint is that they're deeply, deeply caring. They love everyone deeply regardless of who they are or what they've done. It is, in my view, that love that drives them in their mission. They intend to ascend everyone, every living thing, and they will do so regardless of the cost to themselves because they do it out of love. Regardless of species, what type of love (or types) they feel, as I tend to headcanon they blur together romantic/platonic love a lot (as does Invenot), they feel it *a lot*.

I personally also link together Saint, Sliver, and Invenot. I tend to think that Saint is the triple affirmative, Invenot their inverse, and Sliver brought both of their presences about - Ascending herself in the process. As such, I think of Invenot and Saint as counterparts, and also good friends! They're opposite forces, but to me Enot is just chilling while Saint is doing all they can, because they're not a jerk and don't want to interfere. Enot is the cycle, Saint is the triple affirmative. I'll elaborate more on my Sliver thoughts at some point, but to me she's the balance between them in terms of personality.

Saint, as I see them, is dedicated, eerily calm, and unwavering. They ARE the Triple Affirmative, on some level, in my eyes, and with this comes a certain otherworldliness that others can perceive. They are not of the same world, the same stuff as everyone else. They are also endlessly caring, compassionate, kind as I see them - an all loving hero, by nature incompatible with hatred.

However, Saint in my eyes is NOT passive at all. They are weak but they are trying, calm but dedicated and unwavering. May the cycle help you if you stand between them and their goal, they'll never stop - but also, they'd never hurt a fly.

As a wrapup on the rambling... For me, in my eyes, Saint is a Bodshattiva, intentionally delaying their Ascension in order to Ascend others, refusing to stop until the world is all Ascended - an impossible task but one they do not and will never flinch from. I don't know how popular of an interpretation it is, most of the lore stuff and theory stuff I read and watched especially before really getting into Tumblr fandom barely considered the possibility, but personally I couldn't see them any other way.
