Rant - Why Good Faith RWBY Discussions are difficult to have.
I'm gonna get a lot of shit for what I'm gonna say here, but I don't care
This one DOG SHIT video single-handedly ruined all possible RWBY discussion we can have, all because this pretentious asshole decided to make a video on a show he clearly didn't watch while also crapping on the dude he SAYS he was a fan of, only to actually be a FUCKING LIE!!
Yeah, HBomberguy wasn't a fan of Monty prior to his death, he LIED about that shit.
As shown here.

Then again, the intro he had made for the video in the first place should've made that clear, but I digress.
Like- seriously... How hard is it to just WATCH SOMETHING for yourself?
We've been having a huge flood of RWBY reactors in these past few years nearly perfectly understand & analyse this show without any issues
Meanwhile, these supposed great media analysers outright refuse to do the same here for some reason? Despite how most of the stuff they like in other stories happen in RWBY too?... Where's the consistency?
If someone doesn't like something, be it a game, or a show, or a movie or whatever, that's fine. If they don't like the direction they went, that's fine. Different Opinions aren't a bad thing.
But if you're gonna give it an actual critical look, then actually watch the show yourself, don't listen to dipshit on the internet constantly giving you misinformation of something you don't even know about.
That's like- the absolute WORST way to form an opinion on anything.
The point of reviews is to give an accurate description of the work they're analysing & it needs to be an accurate analysis, at that. If they can't do that, they failed to do a review & that's what HBomberguy did here.
Baseless accusations, horrible misunderstanding of the show's messages & themes, outright ignoring the stuff the show both shows and tells you for the sake of making your terrible analysis look more valid, shitting on a dead man's legacy while also trying to make it an homage for him, even outright LYING to his audience.
In what world is a review like this credible in any way?
