This is part of a little art project I made. Basically, you start out with a bunch of different pieces of pictures. It's up to you to choose which ones you want to use, no matter how serious or silly the picture ends up looking. From there, you color it, tape or glue it together, and enjoy the finished picture! For this one, the choice was to use an old timey battle beaten Japanese armor wearing body resting against a tree trunk. It WAS going to be all peaceful and calm... until my muses decides 'LET'S MAKE IT SILLY! MUWAHAHAHA!!!'

Of course, what good is a dj / disc jockey if they're not preforming for an audience, right?

YST / RW Board game and cards - fanmade FREE 07/2022

Short version is : I wanted a RW / YST board game. There wasn't one. So, I made one. MADE FOR FREE! NOT FOR A PROFIT!

Just print, cut, and play! (It includes the board game, the cards, the game pieces, and even a die you can print out if you don't have any dice in your home.) You can find it over here. TheURWWS.freeforums.net/post/7025 Cards can be used with the board game AND they can be used separately for card games!

Longer version : (And an extra bonus is if you play with someone not familiar with this anime, it might get them curious enough to ask you about it.) Also! The cards (based from the official cards that are 'for Backgammon-like games) can be used with the board game, as well as COMPLETELY SEPARATELY from the board game! No need to understand any language to read these cards. Just look at the numbers and the pictures. Easy! AND!!! There are over 500 cards to choose from! You get to choose what cards to play with! A hekkin' wide variety! (Although I still need to finish up the Italian and Spanish versions, at least the English and French versions are as done as they're gonna get.)

Let's be real here, Byakuen / Whiteblaze is a cat at heart. At some point you just KNOW he went up to, at least, one of the boys and bapped them upside the head. Just because a cat's gotta cat, ya know?

I do feel a bit guilty for not putting way more effort into these pics, but the point isn't to make this look like the most gorgeous stuff ever. It's to show how low effort this project is and how nice the outcome can be. And if this is me doing a low effort pencil shading in, no doubt other people can make these mix & match options look WAAAYYYY more awesome. Right?

So I'm on the last 5 episode stretch of Yoroiden Samurai Troopers and man. The animation upgrade. The Big Story Beats. KAYURA. Shuten's long dark teatime of the soul redemption arc. God no wonder I was obsessed.

Honestly I'm kind of impressed that the studio decided to put the deeper character development for the main 5 Bros into the supplemental material and OVAs. Having the plot focus more on Nasté, Jun, and Shuten coming together as the good guy rescue squad makes me so much more invested than just waiting for the guys to get another 11th hour superpower.

Also the whole sequence of demon soldiers scooping up elementary school kids and exploding JSDF jets over a burning Shinjuku is probably my favorite sequence in an anime ever. Absolutely unhinged.

(Gonna circle back on replies to my other post soonish, but for now let me just say it's so gratifying to see other tumblrites also infected with this brain parasite. It's so cozy here)
