        — CUPCAKES were great! Cupcakes were awesome! Except for when they had stupid heart candies all over them. Hanseul had ordered a red velvet cupcake from the bakery, but what he had neglected to take notice of was the fact that they were decorated with those cursed ugly heart shaped things. Wasn’t Valentine’s Day already over with? Amidst his abundant feelings of bitterness, he stuffed the entirety of the cupcake into his mouth with urgency, just to rid himself of those unsightly sugary treats. As icing and cake crumbles dusted the corners of his mouth, and his cheeks pooched out in a comically hilarious way, he turned only to see a pair of eyes locked on him, his face flushing from the embarrassment that consumed him. “ Uh... “ he muttered around a mouthful of cupcake, taking a second to swallow enough down so his words wouldn’t be too distorted. “ I was...really, really hungry. “

This was something that Parker had sworn to himself that he would never do again, not if it was his last option on Earth, but here he was, sitting down across from Jihoon. He was desperate, obviously, and he hated himself for breaking down and calling him for this meeting, but there wasn’t anything else he could do. He was out of money, close to being evicted and so late on his tuition that he was sure he was about to get kicked out of school as well. He bit his bottom lip, staring down at his hands while he twiddled his thumbs. “I’m..” He sighed, scratching behind his head. “I need money, Jihoon.”
