The lights on the television flashed but Merlin wasn't paying any attention to what was playing. His eyes drooped comically as he fought sleep. Their supposed all-nighter hadn't gone according to plan, more so, it fell apart after the third movie.  Deciding to throw in the towel and retreat to his bed, Merlin reached for the remote to switch off the movie, glancing over at her sleeping form.  "Freya," he murmured, not really loud enough to wake her. She slept soundly, Merlin almost didn't want to wake her. But he knew she could not sleep on the couch, so he gingerly lifted her up, resting her comfortably in his arms before walking. He padded softly to their room, hoping she wouldn't wake as his movement swayed her.
