Kestrel whistled as he watched the residents of Vale putting up holiday decorations for the season. It was his first time in Vale, and he was curious to see what the celebrations were like.
Since he came from the more sketchier areas of Mistral, the celebrations really piqued his interest. There was one thing that caught his attention, though: a basket of what looked to be a kind of cookie was placed in the window of a bakery.
He gently tapped the shoulder of the person beside him, “Hey, sorry, excuse me,” He said, “Do you know what those are? I’ve never seen them before where I’m from.” He sounded fairly excited.

“I suppose that is the only choice to make,” Cecilie replied, “Unless a person choses death, of course. But I’d rather not die today.” She glances at the environment around her, taking in the sights and finding herself deep in thought.

While Professor Peach had yet to have the pleasure of knowing the student on a more personal level, she was excellent with faces and names, especially when they involved her work. She folded her umbrella and put it to her side. She had already been attacked by dozens of Grimm today and she was sure that as night fell, dozens more would continue.
“It’s dangerous for people this close to Beacon though, you know. I’m conducting some research here, but I can help you get home safely if you like. The Grimm probably aren’t going anywhere.”
