What made you decide to collab with Aeon?
We had just been discussing Aeon's new series of artworks, of how his work's matured and got his style down beautifully. Then within the day Preview messages us to play with the cover, we got so excited 'cos syempre magiisip pa ba kami ng iba? It was meant to be!
Inspiration behind the artwork?
We wanted the cover to send out the feeling that it gave us all these years each time we opened a preview mag---SURPRISE!
How does this relate to Preview's 20th anniv?
SURPRISE, PREVIEW GIRLS! Happy 20th anniversary!
AEON BARRAMEDA
What was your inspiration?
I looked to images of memphis design movement for inspiration. Doing Illustrations for 4 years and the love for print on prints made me come up with these visuals for this particular cover.
How was it like working with Everywhere We Shoot?
I have been able to work with Ryan + Garovs on few projects way back and doing Illustration for them is an exciting experience. It always feels like its going to be a blast.
