Part 2, because why not?
We really had it all for a short time there, and I really hope we will again.

Part 2, because why not?

Happy one year anniversary to this amazing piece of television. (It's midnight here in about 10 minutes!)
Someone upstairs took one look at this scene and said, you know what, they are too powerful, we have to nip this in the bud. No more of this, because no one will care about Ray or Bear or April or Paddy or Kev or any of the stuff we have planned. Kill it now! (And they might be trying their hardest, but it can't be killed, not really!)
3 weeks from today ill be on my Emmerdale Studio Star Tour. I can’t believe it’s creeping up on me so fast.
Hoping I get Ryan or Danny as my Star.
I will say only this. At the end of the day the history would remmeber Robert Sugden. All his history and all the stories that he could have.
So his PTSD is magically cured. ED setup the story and just decided it is not worth it.
Who was not belived, who received smug faces.
Old fans still remmeber Rebecca and who was drunk that night.
Older fans would remember Sarah's death and who wasn't punished.
At the end of the day Robert is always the one that forgives and forgets but is never forgiven but yeah.
Maybe this is only the arc for the next ten years.
I'm just sorry for Ryan Hawley. He took the role back and was promised a story which he was excited about, with so much care and responsibility. He cares about the history of the character and acting according.
Maybe that interviewer could ask Chris how many people were playing Robert Sugden through the years instead of that akward laughter. I mean we are talking about character that just takes last names like it does not metter at all. Maybe if the avtor knew some history he would not behaving like this.
In my opinion the only thing that the soap has before the AI slop is taking all of the space is the history. And ED just disrespected their biggest lagacy character.
I will watch the show till he is in it like the previous run. But ED is selling us something that it is not on screen. Rebuilding the farm that is not own by him. I am yapping about this full year. But hey remmeber when Robert and Jimmy work to screw Joe about the hollagde company so that at the end the story finished wirh Robert loosing the company in that stupid kidnapping plot.
I think we were all delusional to think that Robert could have a story line. Robert could have a win that feels like it. Yeah he is living at the farm that he do not own, at least he and Vic own some of the land before. Now he lives and the farm that he do not own but he is in some kind of farm war where he is the only one that does not own a land. Yeah right.
I'm not talking about Sarah and that imagined relationship.
Also Serena who? Is she the main Sugden. Don't get me wrong I like her character but is she supposed to be the Sugden.
And I'm not talking about Seb because there is no reason Robert is not doing anything about it in the 2026.
I‘m glad that, at least, in Emmerdaletour they remember that the lads are engaged.
After all the drama yesterday I must say the only thing that I did not like in Danny‘s interview in that podcast is that he trusts the producers. Has he met Laura Shaw?
But I get it, people just miss the warmth between them. A soft glance, heart eyes, a touch here and there wouldn’t go amiss. I miss that, too.
