how do you start a universe with rave reviews and excitement, just to destroy it all 2 years later. and that led to the ending of all the ongoings to be utterly sauceless and abrupt.

ultimate Spiderman especially felt like it was trying to set up for the next writer just to be told it was not going to continue after this

and I know the premise was surrounded with them having 2 years to prepare for the maker, but I personally at least didn't think this meant they had to end the whole universe, and they could have very much continued it after the big event comic. but with all the things that have happened in endgame, any hope of that feels like it's gone
