Excited that @ryanmatthewcohn and @reginamariecohn started introducing some of the vendors that will be a part of the next "Oddities Flea Market" and I'm honored to be a part of this incredible event! If you're not already, be sure to follow the event on @odditiesfleamarket Repost below: Born and raised in Bucks County, Rebecca Reeves continues to live and work in Upper Black Eddy, PA. Reeves's work has been exhibited at Rockford University Art Gallery/Clark Arts Center, IL; Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art, IL; Fuller Craft Museum, MA; Grounds For Sculpture, NJ; Trestle Gallery, NY; Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts, PA; Paradigm Gallery, PA and various other venues. Reeves received her MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her BFA from Tyler School of Art/Temple University, both, with a focus in Fiber. She also studied at Glasgow School of Art, Scotland while earning her BFA from Tyler. Reeves’s system of living becomes the foundation for her work. Her observations fuel the need to clean and organize in order to gain control over her environment. In her current body of work, Reeves considers herself, the “Collector, Protector and Keeper” of numerous family heirlooms. Similar to the meticulously detailed Victorian human hair art which represented the family tree; Reeves uses miniature furniture as representation for the objects in her home, her family tree. She obsessively cocoons the miniatures in thread in order to contain and preserve. Nearly, suffocating them in the process. I have been fighting with Ryan Matthew cohn for 2 years. I initially placed 2 orders for 2 different bat specimens, I had put in a payment of 1000 on the next one thinking that I would be able to afford to keep making payments. So I tell him this in feb of 2012 and he just turns into an ass hole and basically said buy the bat or buy nothing. After 2 years of him fighting with me and ignoring me over this i finally get him to send me 3 rings and paypal me back some of the money to make up the difference. this is agreed but to preface this, back in feb of 13 is when we made the agreement, he ignored me led me on that the rings where coming and told me not to contact him that he will send them. Well almost a year later I got fed up reported him to paypal, the BBB and to the internet fbi fraud division and he finally sends me my rings. however to be a douche sends me two of them that I did not order. First the main ring I wanted which as you can see above to be a dick he made it a duck instead of a sparrow which is not even an option at his store, it was just done to be a dick, these are all made to order so it was either a custom no one wanted that he had laying around or he went out of his was to just be a dick which seems more likely. the other ring was just the wrong one and wrong size. only one of the three where correct. I could be even worse and attach his emails here from the beginning where he is obviously trying to get some via the internet to the last emails and texts where we are calling each other names and hes saying he does not care that $1000 is a lot to me which it is its a lot to a lot of people. So I wanted it back and if I could not have it back i at least wanted something nice to show for it. not a duck on a really dirty ring!

So note to all macabre ladies. Ryan Matthew is a known internet prowler. be weary and don’t give him money unless you know what you are getting exactly or have a contract. It seems the tables on this whole thing turned after a trip to new york to see my bats in process (only the one was being worked on and done who I have in my house and need to pay someone to professionally clean due to ryan matthews lazy work.)

I would be very leary of this douche. hes just an internet troll who turns into a giant infant when things do not go his way or someone stands up to him.

Recently developed an obsession with this man and his home/collection/work. His house/museum is exactly what I'd wish my house to look like some day (though it probably won't!) Some of the coolest taxidermy, bones, and historical pieces I've ever seen. Half of it reconstructed by him. And such a smart person, too. #ryanmatthewcohn #jealousofhiscoolness #oddities
