Hello everybody, time to kick into action (or sit back and relax) as Sjips Week takes off again in 2017!

For those unfamiliar with Sjips Week, or fandom weeks in general, this is a week-long event in which fans of a certain fandom, pairing, or character produce content (fanart, fanfiction, fanmixes, etc) for it!

Sjips Week traditionally has themed days for inspiration for each day of the event, which for this year are as follows:

Spacemen Sunday (7/23): Watch out for space aliens, space pods, and space lasers on this space-tacular day! Yes, the big umbrella of sjips encompasses the webanimation Spacemen too, with its (in)famous characters Blue and Orange.

Make-Up Monday (7/24): Glitz and glam, get your style on with some cute, and perhaps famous, looks this day! But - “makeup” has two meanings... one for cosmetics, and one for reuniting in a relationship! It means what you want it to mean... it could even be both!

Tekkit Tuesday (7/25): Back to the classic Tekkit at the good ol’ SipsCo Compound... Sips and Sjin conning, killing, and robbing everyone in sight... yep, classic SipsCo activities.

Weepy Wednesday (7/26): Oh... oh. We’re having a day for angst? Alright... time to pull out the tissue box! [sniffles] On this day, join us for Triple D: Despair, DirtQuest Origins, and Death.

Transcending Other Dimensions Thursday (7/27): This is a fancy way to say AU, or Alternate Universe. Sips and Sjin in a domestic life AU, 1920s AU, merperson/pirate AU, AU AU... the possibilities are endless.

Furry Friday (7/28): Okay. We all know that Sips and Sjin were dogs in tekkit. This day is for furries... god help us all. Share your interpretation of Sips and Sjin as animals, or stick to the canon designs, everything is cool. Orange might even pop in for some scalie representation. But, if the idea of anthropomorphism makes you uncomfortable, this day can also be themed for Sips and Sjin’s beloved pets, such as Igo and Hugo, Jake and Charlotte, and Guy the Sheep (wait... sheep have wool, not fur. huh). 

Sexy Saturday (7/29): Alright! Things are finally heating up. Time for some fun. Focus on anything from pda to kinks in this day. (Please see the footnotes for more information).

These days are completely optional to follow, and there should be no pressure to theme content around them - they are only some guidelines for inspiration and fun!

All of this takes place July 23 - 29, so gear yourselves up!

During this event, please tag your content appropriately (ex. any n-s-f-w content should be tagged as such), respect each other’s boundaries, and most important of all, have fun! 

N-s-f-w content is allowed for any day during this event, not just Saturday - Saturday just focuses on it.

(mememan here) my shipping names are weird as hell for corv and xeph and dew. honeycorphos is their poly ship name and i chose it because i wanted to ship to be distinct from xephvax honeyvax and honeyphos? if that makes sense? like honeycorphos wasnt just honeyphos + corv and its not just xephvax + dew either. idk i just thought that naming it like that would sort of hint to the fact that it is a brand new ship and im not just shoving corv into a preexisting one? also it's the tag i track lol

(still mememan) tbh if people want to change the ship name to something else then its fine but i just stick with honeycorphos because that was it’s name since the maiden voyage and im an Old Geezer who hates change lmao

these names are all so good!! i remembered that the ship name melded corvax’ and xephos’s names together well. i like the dynamic that is being specified, “it’s not just honeyphos + corv,…” it’s the three all together loveing each other and having a blast!!!
