Ryari - Ryan's Birthday

I drew this for Ryan's birthday and then forgot to post it. Not quite as amazingly drawn as my spicy one, but I'm proud of it.

A few days had passed since Ryan had seen Kairi, the last time being the pillow fight that turned into a romantic nap together. Now, he was on their ship again to fulfill a promise made by him, in his hands his bag full of equipment. The brunette looked around, the cool breeze combing through his hair and brushing it to the side. Ryan greeted the crew members as he passed before he set down the path to Kairi’s room, gently knocking on the open door as a way to gain her attention. He smiled at her when she turned to him.

“I’m here to finally start working on your designs like we talked about. I’ll mostly just need your measurements today, then later if you want we can discuss what you’d like to be made”

[kings-are-speaking] - Ryan surprised Kairi with a visit, appearing in front of her with a gentle grin and arms behind his back. He wore his usual get up but it was obvious he spent more time getting ready than normal. He looked at her, his girlfriend, the one he was spending more and more time with. His cheeks warmed and he quickly cleared his throat and spoke. "Hello, Tulip!" He fumbled with the object he held, but kept his smile up.

Kairi expression warms considerably at the sight of her love, her gaze twinkling happily. She gasps, this was quite a lovely surprise! She quickly places her palms on his shoulders and stretches on to the tips of her toes. With a slightly audible noise, she plants a kiss on his cheek. Her heels touch back to the ground and she flashes a brilliant smile. She had not realized that today was her birthday, but she was still beyond happy to see her beloved.

"Hello, love!" Her hand were still on his shoulder when she noticed him fumbling with something behind his back. The only clue that she had noticed was a brief flicker of her gaze, "To what do I owe the pleasure?" Her smile widened a bit.

"I like this, we should hug more often."

♡ Ryan to Kairi! “You looked cold-” his voice gargled at the end as he regretting saying something so cliche. Maybe Quinn’s advice didn’t show through after all...he blushes hard, cheeks and ears burning.

Kairi smiled softly, her cheeks a little flushed as she melted into Ryan's embrace. She loved the way she fit into his arms and against his chest.

"I was a bit cold," She lied, knowing that it was just and excuse, but the nuzzle she added definitely helped to solidify her words, "Thank you, love."
