I'm Back
After a long silence, I have managed to log back into my tumblr blog. Tbh, the reason I started this blog was inspiration after learning about the Lisa Lam case. She had written in a tumblr blog and it opened my eyes to the possibility, that tumblr was a place we can post blogs. I had written on a Myspace blog in the past but I do not believe Facebook ever gave us the option.
Sometimes, I have a lot to say. This is a good platform to say it.
Yesterday was Saturday and I actually had a date for once. :-D A friend I have known since I was 11 years old (I'm 37 now) took me to the mall in Niles to walk around and then we saw the new (2025) Superman movie. It was good. I won't say too much because I know how people can be about spoilers, but I quite like it.
My husband is still in Denver ( I am in Pennsylvania as I sit here). He is a fucking idiot and I think we are getting a divorce. I have also been writing my boyfriend, Donald, who is in Cottonport Prison for another 5 years in Louisiana. My love life is kinda messy but as my mom puts it "a girl has a right to change her mind".
Well, Tumblr, I am back!!! That's pretty much what I wanted to establish here.
Let's do it
I can't think of a better time to relaunch my blog than the launch of Sagittarius season 🏹🏹🏹 and I was pleasantly surprised to see that I had already posted more than 40 blogs. This is a very hermetic time for me. Blogging will provide a very useful creative outlet.
Since I gave you all lots of general tarot meanings already, I would like to push myself to talk more about the planets and the stars.
The Sun is in Sagittarius!!!!! Let's celebrate!
Paranormal Circus and Travel Update
This blog is going to start off by saying that the Italian Paranormal Circus was badass. If you get a chance to see it (they travel and have shows all over) please give it a go. I was blown away by the showmanship and athleticism. We attended at the Aurora mall. They had a big black and white circus tent set up.
Now, for a travel update. Colorado has been good to me. I really enjoy the parks, the malls, and the sunshine. It's rained quite a lot since I've been here but that has kept the temperature on the cooler side for the most part. It's been... maybe 3 going on 4 months now that I've been here. Seems to be the road is calling me and I'm leaving for New Orleans in the next week or so. The French Quarter has been my home for over ten years now and I'm excited to return. Tentatively planning on going back to Pennsylvania after a few weeks in the Big Easy. I want to catch the end of yard sale season in Western PA.
Love you all. May blessings and love come your way.
My take on Rose Madder by Stephen King
I would like to announce that I have read a novel from cover to cover, ahem, round of applause, please? LOL But seriously, a bit of a possible spoiler alert here...
I just finished Rose Madder by Stephen King and I think this might be one of his best works. It really is in my opinion. How this one didn't make a blockbuster film, I'll never know, but maybe one is on the way...
To me, that rose madder color represented the color of a heavy amount of period blood, the uterine lining that sheds every month in preparation for a new lining to form and a chance to get pregnant again. Rose was detoxifying herself of her abusive husband.
I like how King acknowledged the anger that comes along with surviving domestic abuse. Few people who haven't been through it would be likely to understand, and it meant a lot to me that the book went there.
Five out of five stars, i HIGHLY recommend the book.
