Adventures don’t have to take you far away. Sometimes the best adventures are the ones right at our doorstop . . . I’m currently on a short break with my friends to the Sussex Coast. We’ve been staying in Rye, at a beautiful 14th century building called the Mermaid Inn. Which is best known for being a place where the Hawkhurst Smugglers used to frequent. It’s been truly wonderful to walk around the cobbled streets. Rye is a relatively quiet town. Something that appeals to me right now. But it’s a travel photographers dream with its many quaint alleys, tea rooms and period buildings. I of course had to get the “money shot” of the famous Mermaid Street. Which is famed to be one of my most photographed streets in Sussex. Have you been to Rye? . . . Photo Credit: @bitter_bisexual / @bitter_bi_books . . .
