I've actually had another one planned for my Gumdrop story save for.... a very long time. 😂 I have to get to a certain point in the story first before it can start though, and it’s going to involve a lot more writing than Jin’s so the feeling might be different.
I don’t currently have any other plans besides that at the moment, but I’d absolutely be open to doing another purely gameplay one in the future! BCs are so much fun to play - and it’s an excuse for me to ask for sims from other people. I just love having other people’s pretty sims in my saves. :)
RQOTD: What games did your character like to play as a child? Do they still like those games now?

As a child, Figgy was dragged into a lot of games from don’t wake the llama to chess to video games like Mario Party and Super Smash Brothers. Now that he’s grown up, he doesn’t play a lot of games anymore, although he’s always up for a game of Mario Party/Smash Brothers when he’s hanging out with friends.
Jin grew up playing a ton of video games including Pokemon, Zelda and Mario. (Her parents got her pretty much anything she wanted, possibly because they felt guilty over their messy divorce.) As an adult, she still plays all of those games and more, often streaming them for her fans.
And finally, as a child Ori loved to play make believe games with her friends, often with her being a knight or a hero. However since then, real life has both fulfilled her fantasies and crushed them - so she really doesn’t have time or the need for make believe anymore.
Oooh something controversial. The first thing that comes to mind is that she has been very careless with relationships? 🤔 She did try to be as honest as possible with the people she dated but she definitely raised some of their expectations more than she meant to. Morgyn especially I think got hurt in the end. 😭 If I do more actual writing for the bc then this will probably come up there.

Ahhh thank you so much! I’ve been thinking about my answers for this for awhile but have been very distracted with Animal Crossing lately so it took me awhile to write them all out. Of course I had to choose Jin!
Jin Ryley
1. Her natural hair color is actually black, but she’s been dying it since she was a teenager. Her dad’s hair is red and her mom’s hair is black, so she decided to go for a shade in between the two.
2. As a celebrity her first and only perk so far is Refined Palate. I have no idea how she got it since she can’t cook. She’s constantly has negative moodlets from eating subpar food.
3. Headcanon time! In my mind Jin’s mother is Japanese while her father is American - or the sims equivalent of them. She grew up in America though her and (spoiler!) her kids names so far have all been Japanese.
4. Jin’s parents divorced when she was little. Her dad’s never been good with kids and her mom always wanted a big family. Because of this, Jin and her dad had a strained relationship until she was a teenager. They’re alright now, but not nearly as close as Jin is with her mom.
5. Jin’s mom DID get remarried when Jin was a teenager. She got along pretty well with her stepdad although he passed away from illness not too long before she moved to the city.. She does have a younger brother named Haru who’s only a couple years older then Jin’s firstborn.

Jin actually started as a sim that I made for another challenge - that I might still do someday. (Don’t look at me like that, I promise it’s a short one!) This is her in her original form - the only facial difference being the nose.
MARY! Like poor Jin for all the nonsense she is going through but also you cannot make this stuff up for a BC it is PERFECT! I'm having a great time watching them all struggle 😂
YES! I’m so glad you’re enjoying it! 😂 This household is so wild and I love it. Leaving sims on autonomous is one of my favorite things. They get up to the craziest stuff.
And as for nonsense that Jin has to put up with - just wait until next episode! 😉
