RQOTD: Do your OCS know and like where they're from or do they wish to be born somewhere else? Is there a specific reason ?

Of course Ruby does remember where she is from. She is from an older time (1800s-ish). Back in a time where society told you who to be based on which family you were born into. And it was all about advancing your family line and getting ahead. Ruby hated living in that time and was happy to leave it all behind and watch the world change into the more progressive one she lives in now where she can be herself and love who she loves. She is very happy to be raising her children in this time period rather than the one she was raised in.

RQOTD: How easy to annoy is your oc? Do they have common pet-peeves or are they stoic in response to everything? What is their reaction if the source doesn’t stop?

Crimson

Crimson is hardly bothered by anything, because they don’t take things too seriously or personally. Nevertheless, if there’s something that annoys them, it’s people who don’t know when they should better stop talking and simply shut up. The reason is that they also enjoy the silence between two people or in a reunion, because this way they have a better chance to get a “feeling” for their counterpart. So, if all this gets too much for them, they prefer to disappear in the shadows. In some (rare) situations they can also become pretty mean and aggressive and hurt other people with their words, being too honest and insensible saying their opinion.

RQOTD: When does your OC feel truly at peace?

For Chris & Hayle, the answer to that is when they are somewhere together, just the two off them. Nothing against having a house full of kids and grandkids, but there is always something to be said for just having some time alone. It can be on the couch at home, a restaurant, or like there, just out somewhere, by a waterfall and nature, the main thing is, its just the two of them, and they have their truly at peace.

I felt like answering this for one more, Lucas. In his life, he has never fully been at peace anywhere, always slightly on his toes, and never really fully relaxed. Even at the Orphanage, he was always slightly apprehensive, on alert, just in case. This changed the day he stepped into Two hearts shelter and started working there. This is the one place he feels completely and truly at peace.

Working with the animals, and hanging around the wards is like medicine for him, and he would not change it for the world. Honestly, if he could he would quit his career and start working there full time in a heartbeat, letting his music take a second seat.

Yay, thank you so much for this one! 😊 Let’s just ignore the fact, that my weakspot is not writing down shit as much as I should, and if I did, I can’t remember anymore where I put the files. 😂 I dug through my google docs though, and found at least some stuff, yay! RQOTD: If your OC could meet any other fictional character, who do you think they would have an interesting discussion with?

It would be interesting to see Xander have a conversation with Sam and/or Dean Winchester from Supernatural 😂

RQOTD: What is one thing your OC would like to change about themselves?

Firefly Dawn Crayon!

In my mind, Dawn has always been self-conscious about her upbringing. She doesn't like to say she was an unhappy child, because she was so close to her grandparents, but sometimes she feels insecure as a parent because she never had a traditional father or mother figure in her childhood. I think if she had the chance to, she would change things so she could have been closer to her parents.

Also, in moments of weakness, she's jealous of her children for the closer relationship they have with Coral than she did. I'm sure she would like to change it for this reason too.
