I want so badly to be super honest but I think I'm. Semi-popular as a blogger in my source's fandom so I'm gonna try and not give details about who I am outside of a Ryley Robinson fictive and Sea Emperor-kin. Anyways......

I kinda hate the way that people ship the Sea Emperor and Ryley? Like nothing is morally wrong with it and on paper it's actually really nice! But as a Ryley Robinson fictive, it's incredibly uncomfortable, because I can't separate the Sea Emperor from my idea of "mother."

That's my mom. Plain and simple, the Sea Emperor is my mother figure. And despite how source-divergent I am, it's incredibly uncomfortable to see jokes, especially sexual ones, about me and my mama. It's incredibly uncomfortable to scroll through my tag on Ao3 and see just how many Emperor/Ryley fics there are.

Obviously I'm not gonna harass artists or something about this, but it gets... Upsetting.

God… thinking about noncanon people I miss is a little funky because I'm a fictive from my own fic and most of my noncanon friends exist within my system or my partner system. But if I could talk to anyone for just a day, just an hour even... I want to see my mom. By canon we don't know anything about my family but I remember. I have my sister back and I'm grateful for it. I just… I miss Mom and her calm advice over tea, and her cooking for me when I needed a boost. She always encouraged me to chase my dreams. I hope she never regretted encouraging me to go on the Aurora mission. It changed my life in ways I couldn't have imagined and introduced me to my new family. Mom, there's no chance you're out there but… I miss you so fucking much. I'll have a cup of tea for you. (And happy late Mother's Day lol)

Alright I'm late to this party but as for being queer in my life... Alterra was accepting to a degree. I had to get a license to come out as a trans man. I was probably lucky to get on T and get top surgery when I did. I didn't know there was more than a rainbow flag until I left the trans-gov and saw a bunch in another gov. Hell, I knew I was aromantic but I had no clue there was a FLAG for it. Being an Alterran Queer was... depressing.
