SlimeKnight really reminds me of Tristy and Rynn from a Roblox game called Vestigial Library
Idk if anyone knows that game but it's soo amazing. I cried a lot from the symbolism and other implications in the game—especially tristesse and glade (made by the same creator of Vestigial Library, the games are connected).
Now I'm thinking about Avery going through a library and exploring different memories and the insights of Derek/D3rlord3's mind, while Tristy and Rynn are desperately trying to save the other from the KIY but then Tristy pushes Rynn off the platform to save him.......
Yes they switch cuz why not, they really remind me of each other😭
