Yo minna-san, ogenki?
Now that I finished the semester, I’ve been able to focus on the other stuff that I want to do. Although, I’ve found that after the end of a semester, I go through a school withdraw. Thinking, do I have any homework to do? etc… But that has passed, and now I’ve been really productive. With a friend from school’s help, Josh and I were able to figure out a story line for our first full-fledged game. I’ve been able to play my horn again, and yesterday I completely learned the IndiGoGos’ Theme from Majora’s Mask. And to top all of that, I know Hiragana, Katakana, and can read and write thirty Kanji.
Now we’re gonna get back into the regular routine, but I do plan to do more Character Song Specials. I’d never heard of character songs until I started watching subbed anime. Not as many English voice actors do character songs as seiyuus do, I don’t know why. But I know that I love character songs. They may not all be as well performed or written as professional songs, but they carry the personalities of the characters. And unlike the anime, this is an essence of the character that exists without any context. It’s a piece of the anime you can take with you. Although, I have to admit that there are some pretty kick-ass character songs.
I’m digressing, let’s get to it.
Mata kimi ni aeru by Ketsumeishi (stylized as ケツメイシ)
I figured that I’ve done enough female and anime (at the same time actually) songs, so I give you something completely different. It’s a bit burrzy right now, so I thought that “RELAXING TROPICAL TUNE WITH A GROUP OF FOUR GUYS”. That’s not what happened at all. Here’s how it really happened:
“Ok, so what can I post that isn’t anime related, or has female singers? … That’ll work.”
