Granblue Fantasy
Ah yes, A good start.
1) Use all the money to get competent coders to smooth the gameplay out sweet unmerciful christ. The biggest problem of Granblue as a ‘game’ is that it’s... a lot of fighting the UI to do stuff. And how raids are coded forces options out simply on the basis you need to go fast, and you can’t, because the UI is clunky.
2) Completely fuck up the magna system and make more viable weapon pools besides ‘Whale’ and ‘Cry yourself to sleep on magnas’. Weapon pools sound really cool, until you realize you can do almost nothing with like 80% of the weapons in the game.
3) Actual fucking endgame. More raids, with actual interesting mechanics, that require coordination beyond ‘Have one person hit really hard’. HL Bahamut is literally the most fun part of the endgame, because it is the ONLY thing you can not eventually outscale the mechanics of*. It is the only, honest to god, fight where you must think, act carefully- and it’s still messed up by the FUCKING UI FLAWS OH MY GOD
Look I’m gonna highlight this. This is why, despite what anyone tells you- Granblue MAY honestly not have a future, especially with Guild Wars going straight to shit. A lot of people who joined at english are already quitting because they’ve hit the end, and realized there is just NOTHING left. And updates are not convincing us anything will be coming.
Granblue says it has 15m players.
It has like, 1/30th of that, honestly. This is a really serious problem.
4) Make Erunes and Draph not literal fetish fuel races??? Holy shit??? I’ve seen the words ‘made for breeding’ mentioned at least once for almost every Draph character including the children (WHICH BY THE WAY, IS ANOTHER THING???) LIKE LOOK I KNOW SOME OF YOU JOINED FOR THAT BUT
THAT LEADS TO A REALLY UNHEALTHY FANBASE.
Also races, despite being a core mechanic, mean almost nothing because you have a bunch of characters not of the 4 main races anyway so why is that a mechanic.
5) More Ferry in every event.
I’m biased, okay.
*May not include the SSR Buncle fights, I’ve played most of the 6-man HL raids but not these because no one actually likes them. I have no idea if this is because they’re actually challenging, or just really annoying to set up for.
