Panel 1: Nozomi and Chiyo talk as the protagonist eats dango in the background. Nozomi: "I heard a student from our sister school is visiting today." Nozomi: "Word is they'll be stopping by the club room, so maybe we'll see them." Chiyo: "Ooh, I can't wait!"

Panel 2: Ryotaro waits in anticipation. Kokoro brings out some yakisoba bread. Shinya stares at Kokoro worriedly. Ryotaro: "I hear footsteps. Let's see what we're working with." Kokoro: "Let us break yakisoba bread together." Shinya: "I wonder if they'll think this school is full of weirdos..."

Panel 3: An unknown individual steps into frame. Only their shoe is visible. SFX: step

Panel 4: The scene shifts to show the individual, but Vanitas drops into frame, obscuring their face. Vanitas SFX: woosh Vanitas: "A newcomer to this place? Let me see their face." Shinya: "Move, Vanitas! You're blocking the way!"

Ok so most of the time when I ship two characters from different media together there’s an element of “I ship this because I like both of them” but honestly, genuinely, I think Ryotaro Date and Yusuke Kitagawa would date and it would be so fuckingg chaotic.

Panel 1: Shinya is talking to the protagonist; both look worried. A faded image of Nozomi is in the background. Nozomi: "We're looking forward to your White Day gifts." Nozomi SFX: Heheh! Shinya: "...is what she said, but what should we do?" Protagonist: "......"

Panel 2: The scene shifts to Ryotaro whisking something in a large metal bowl. Ryotaro: "A true man isn't satisfied until he pays back his debts. So I, Ryotaro Date..." SFX: whisk whisk Shinya: "Don't be so dramatic, it's not that big a deal."

Panel 3: Ryotaro presents his creation: a tart in the shape of a rabbit. Ryotaro: "Take that!" Ryotaro SFX: Bunny Tart! SFX: Bam! Shinya: "So cute..." Shinya: "No way! How can someone like you make something like that?!"

Panel 4: Ryotaro wipes under his nose in embarrassment. Shinya holds a bunny tart in disbelief. The protagonist eats a bunny tart in the background. Ryotaro: "Just tell them you guys made it." Ryotaro: "It's kind of embarrassing..." Shinya: "They wouldn't believe the truth anyway."

Shinya's line in Panel 3 was originally something along the lines of "there's such a gap between you and [something]". I think this is an allusion to the term "gap moe", where the discrepancy between something or someone's outer appearance and their true nature or behavior create an appeal.

Panel 1: An array of sweets, including cookies, chocolates, and a bag with unknown contents. Nozomi: "Oh, boys~! The girls made presents for you~!" Chiyo: "Nozomi made the cookies and I made the chocolate hearts!" Shinya: "I'm guessing Kokoro's is in the bag?" SFX: sparkle sparkle

Panel 2: The bag is revealed to contain miniature Fiends, which are animated and hitting the sides of the bag. Ryotaro: "It's moving?! The hell kind of chocolate is that?!" Kokoro: "White chocolate. I made them in the shape of my favorite Fiends and they started to move for some reason."

Panel 3: Ryotaro and Shinya smile politely as Kokoro continues. Kokoro: "I can vouch for the taste, thought they may become violent once they're inside your mouth." Kokoro: "I can hurt quite a bit."

Panel 4: Ryotaro hands the bag off to the protagonist, who nervously stares at it as Kokoro holds up another bag behind him. Ryotaro: "All you, Mr. VP." Ryotaro SFX: Here. Protagonist SFX: Huh... Kokoro: "If you're still hungry once you finish, I have more." Fiends: (unintelligible)

Panel 2: Shinya and Chiyo face the reader, Shinya holding baby clothes and Chiyo holding a makeup brush and lipstick. Shinya SFX: rustle Shinya: "Perfect timing, Vanitas! You'd prefer cute clothes, right?!" Shinya: "Here, put this on!" Chiyo SFX: woosh Chiyo: "No way!" Chiyo: "Mr. Bunny would look way cuter in makeup!"

Panel 3: Ryotaro walks through the hall, whistling. Ryotaro: (music note) Ryotaro SFX: whistle Vanitas: "...me..."
