❝Get AWAY FROM ME!❞ ( x )
He swung his keyblade back with brute force, clashing with Tina’s, knicking her back on impact. Her keyblade skidded across the floor before fading into oblivion. Fear struck in his voice but he tries to mask it with bravery. Her clocked hood falls off revealing her identity to her best friend. He looks at her as if he had seen a ghost. It has been a while since the two had crossed paths and finally they were back together, in the most unlikely way possible.
She only sniggers at him always being the one trying to play the hero, acting like a child all the damn time. She looks back at her old friend, “Wow, you really have got a lot stronger Sam,” Tina compliments but it comes out as mockery. He was no longer the little boy from the island, seems like his own adventures had bought him lessons in strength and stamina, shame that Tina’s met the same fate too. Tina tries to walk a little closer to him but his grasp tightens on the keyblade, his stance widens as if he was ready to spar with her once again.
Her eyes on him like daggers marked for a rival. But a moment her expression softens, as she clasps her hands behind her back, tilting her head a little to the side, trying to play off as the sweet little girl from the islands. Tina forces her voice to be airy and giggly, “I’ve missed you, Sammy. We can be together again,” she reaches out a hand for him. “You and I, back to the islands. Don’t cha want that?” She extends her arm out a little further, watching as he seems to let his guard down a little. “Let’s go home, the two of us,” Tina pleads. His gloved hand reaches out to her’s, fingertips barely brushing, Tina snaps her hand away, quickly casing a Blizzara spell, jumping back.
Sam is quick to deflect it. Tina calls for her keyblade, appearing in her hand, holding it ready to fight even her supposed best friend. She dashes forward, striking him, but he is guarding her attack. “Fight me,” she speaks through gritted teeth, “I said fight me, Sam!” But he was refusing to. Sam is stronger pushing her away. Tina strikes again until the two of them are dancing around with their keyblades, like they use too on the islands. “What is the matter?” she grunted,”Is it because I chose the....” she deflects his block,”Because of I..chose the darkness over you?” She manages to get a hit in, knocking his keyblade at hand.
Tina flicks her hair back in a true villain like fashion,”Can’t you see Sam? Darkness, that is what true power is all about. Shame that you don’t see it that way.” She looks away feeling her heart hurting. “Without darkness, there would be no light...but seems like things like that can’t co-exist.” She sighs,”Sucome to the darkness Sam, the light is fading.” Tina calls, before casting a portal to leave him with his thoughts.

None of this was ever her plan. Rosemary had not even wanted to write the cookbook in the first place but then Dex had been the one to encourage her with it. When the book came along seemed like so much drama came along with it. All the PR stunts they wanted her to pull with all the collab videos, the change in looks and just everything that never wanted to be. Too bad that she had signed a contract without reading all the fine print, she was stuck with this deal for another year and a half. When the next stunt came along,
Rosemary felt her world crumble. Tears were staining her eyes as she stared at the video and various tabs open talking about her apparent “boyfriend” an up and coming ass hole who had a prank channel that needed some wholesomeness that she could provide. Everything that was bringing her joy was slowly having the life sucked from it. When she said everything, she mainly meant with Dex. All of this put a strain on the two of them, first with her book tour then all the guest show appearances, that they wouldn’t let him on. She missed having her best friend with her. Things were starting to strain between the two of them. When she heard him shouting from the other room. He looked frustrated and angry, something that was a rarity from him. She had only ever seen him worked up from video games but not like this.
He was always the one that made things a lot better from her but lately, she knew he was wasn’t the one that she could turn too. Rosemary wanted her boyfriend to be him. She was in love with the boy but it was something that just could not be. Rosemary cried harder at his tone. He couldn’t make any of it better, even if Dex had just given her a hug but that was something that was a distant memory, like the distance that stood between them.
“Sorry I just thought,” her bottom lip trembles as she looks at him. He use to be the warmth of winter, the feeling you get when you were curled up in a blanket but all this time she had been mistaken. He was a shiver, the bitter bite winter held, the coldness that the snow brought. Rosemary had been taken out by his charm and sweetness but ended up the fool. With her sleeve, she wipes the tears,”Forget it...I shouldn’t even ask you for help.” Rosemary wasn’t smiling, she got up starting to pack a bag,”You can have my bed to yourself tonight, I think I am going see my brother. Actually...do whatever you want since this is your home too.” She is ready to walk at the door but turns to him. “Please don’t ever forget that Dexter.”
She full names him.
Rosemary never calls him by his full name.

Rain was belting down on the two teens. Sam stood on the edge. One step back he would fall into Tina’s hold, tight and hearing the hammering from her fearful heart. One step forward, he would be met with endless darkness, leaving Tina’s world unbearable. Blood was dripping from her nose, tired and exhausted with no power to pull another rewind. She couldn't do it, the countless rewinds as she was forced to live every heart-wrenching moment from photo to photo. A gunshot. A scream. An overdose. A flatline dropping. Endless loops, countless Sam’s, she had saved them all but now when the time really called counted, not those fabricated realities, Tina only had one shot to save him or it would be gone forever. He wouldn’t even turn to face her, even with the rain falling they could not mask the tears. Sam had been hurting too much in this lifetime and Tina has been fooling around in the other timelines working out those issues to even see it. This wasn’t a punk act, this was the real thing. Five days they had spent which has been the best in her life but now was the time to make a choice but Sam seemed to be the one making the choice.
“Y-you aren’t worthless,” Tina chocks on her own tears, not even knowing if her words reached him. “YOU AREN’T WORTHLESS SAM,” Tina yells to watch him flinch. “Don’t you dare ever say that!” The winds were starting to roar louder, as she tried to yell from the top of her lungs. “You are everything to me. EVERYTHING!” She repeats the keywords as she is falling apart herself. “I’m the one who doesn’t meet your expectations, Sam.” Tina is shaking her head trying to stop the tears from falling,”But this isn’t about me, this is all about you. How SMART you are. How ARTISTIC you are. You have been hurting so long that no one seems to notice, that is has rippled out to this.” Tina looks at the storm and the stupid butterfly effect. All of this happened because she left him behind. “And you have better ABS than War-Walter,” Tina tries to laugh but chocks on her tears. She hopes that Sam is laughing but she can’t even tell.
“Please don’t leave me, don’t do the same as I did to you,” Tina is crying now. “I love you, Sam!” Tina is crying harder now, panicking she needs to be closer to him. Tina rushes to his side taking his hand into his,”If you jump, then I am jumping too. We are in this together.”
