~BIO~

Name: Ryuji Saeki

Age: 16

Talent: Ultimate Otamatone Player

Bio: Ryuji Saeki is a loud, fun-loving punk who adores a number of things; having a good time, playing the otamatone, annoying people who think the otamatone is a silly instrument with an otamatone, and writing music for both himself and his twin sister, Honoka.

Not a lot can really set this guy off, with the only exception being anyone who tries to mess with his sister. It was just the two of them growing up (no mom, and a dad who was pretty busy all the time), and he’ll absolutely throw a punch to defend her. Even if she’s more than capable of throwing a punch of her own, he knows she’d prefer not to if necessary. So he’s happy to do it for her.

But for the most part, he’s pretty cool and can get along with just about anyone.

Additional Info: Has several piercing, tongue included. He tried to pierce his own ears once, and it went very badly.

Gravity Falls: In this setting, his information is relatively the same. Only major difference is that he happens to be from a DR-parody game Soos owns called Super Mega Hopeless Murder High School Of Hopelessness. Also some stuff happens that I can’t talk about yet, but oough, he does not have a good time.

~Headcanons~

(I know I established Ryuji and Honoka’s family life to be nothing but their dad, who was rarely around. And while I do stand by that, it’s not entirely true.

Or at least, the times he were around were far worse than the times when he wasn’t. I won’t go too much into detail, but it should be pretty easy to guess that he was a pretty wretched and abusive person.

And it was that behavior of his that resulted in the twins growing up with a desire to look out/protect each other.

While Ryuji’s a lot more open with his desire to keep his sister safe, he’s actually pretty unaware of just how strongly it is in the opposite direction; Honoka was usually the one to take the brunt of their father’s abuse as a kid (being the oldest of the two) and often hid it from her brother so as not to make him worry.

While she’s definitely not as open of a book as her brother, her determination to keep him safe from anything or anyone who wants to hurt him is a core part of who she is as a person. No matter what happens to her, she can handle anything so long as Ryuji stays safe and happy.

...Not the healthiest mindset in the world, but hopefully the two of them will be able to grow and heal from it in time. And to be fair, they were taken out of their father’s care at around ten, and put into a far safer and more welcoming home. So the healing process has already started.

But at the same time, their desire to protect each other even at the cost of their own safety and well-being still lingers.)
